The course consists of 30 hours of class instruction and 8 hours of behind the wheel training. The student receives one-on-one behind the wheel training with a state certified instructor. The course is required for 15, 16, and 17 year olds and meets the requirements of the State of Louisiana. According to state law, in order to receive credit, students must be at least 14 years and 9 months and in the 8th grade to begin the 30-hour classroom portion.

We give the DMV written test in the 38 hour course, please go onto the DMV website and download and study thier driver's guide in preparation for the DMV written test.

A $100.00 deposit is required to reserve their spot for the 38 hour course. Please note when you register, if you DO NOT put your required down payment, your registration will be deleted from our system within SEVEN (7) days of your initial registration. You must return to your account with your payment to secure your seat. We can only accommodate those students in our driving school who have secured their seat properly with the required down payment. Once our class is filled with secured students, we may not be able to accommodate your attendance in that particular class and you will need to choose another start date.

Mandatory meeting for any parent or legal guardian, enrolling their child for any 38 hour Drivers education class. Starts at 7:45 on the first day of students class.

We require a minimum of 4 students registered for this course to be held.

Wear proper shoes for all scheduled drives. No flip-flops, Crocs or beach style shoes allowed. Stable shoes only. Failure to wear proper shoes will result in a no show fee of $60
